As a start-up challenger brand with limited budget to launch, they needed a bold brand idea that could cut through both in the paid and earned space to create conversation, consideration and aquisition for a C-Suite audience

We created a ‘Savings As A Service’. A campaign platform that put Coupa’s first customers in the spotlight. We let the converts tell their own Coupa story and become ambassadors for the brand. We filmed over 60 customer testimonials worldwide and created content and lead magnet tools for digital, social channels and PR. We then asked them to share a number. The amount they had saved since adopting Coupa into their own business. This bold move made the brand the focus of the wider audience and B2B media channels. We then celebrated this by taking over Union Square in San Francisco with an event platform called ‘Rethink The Possible’ where we shared insights customer stories and savings.
Coupa listed on Nasdaq in Q4 2016 at a valuation of over $1.5bn. Our work built the foundations for their approach and comms strategy that built brand
fame and fuelled growth as they headed towards their successful IPO.
